Don’t let the rain wash away your excitement for World Music Day

Although we’re hoping for some sunshine on Sunday, even if it’s raining we’re sure that the World Music Open Day at Forest Farm Peace Garden will be a fantastic event! We’ll have the music and food under cover so we stay dry, and make sure there’s plenty of hot tea and delicious food to keep us warm.

We have some great acts confirmed for the World Music Day- a Congolese band who will get you on your feet and dancing, and Just5 Roma band, a local group who have played alongside the acclaimed London Gypsy Orchestra. The food is being provided by the Arabic Speaking Women’s Group, who will make a delicious range of food from the Arabic-speaking world.

The event takes place at the start of Refugee Week, an initiative which aims to discover and celebrate the contributions of refugees to the UK.

We hope to see you there!
